Habits of Beauty

I Will Walk by Faith, Even if I Cannot See-

Never could I have imagined that at 27 years old, my life would be at the place it is today- single, unmarried, no kids, and trying to find my place in life. I often questioned why I’d been dealt this hand…and this was my problem! This is what I like to call the old looking at the glass half empty instead of half full concept. The biggest wakeup call during my spiritual journey, has been my mindset. A negative mindset, allocates the stage for negative results. We as individuals have to stop self-sabatoging and comparing ourselves to others. Trust me from experience, I know what it’s like to feel as though you have hit rock bottom, and the only coping mechanism you feel appropriate, is crying or lashing out. DON’T!!! This is one of the key steps in self-sabatoging… questioning what you did wrong, or what you could have done differently, because in the end the answer is always simply going to be NOTHING! Life works out in the ways in which it is meant to. Okay…go ahead cry tonight, but when you wake up tomorrow, take the negative energy in your life, and use it as a motivating resource. Even when things weigh heavily on your heart, or you just don’t understand why, keep your faith strong. You have made it this far being the AMAZING individual you are. No need to stop now =].
